BIO
VANESSA PARHAM
I am a Video Editor, Filmmaker, Storyteller and most of all, a forever student. Growing up in Oakland California, I was always surrounded by music, art, and symbols that represented something important to the culture. Symbolism and storytelling through art such as movies have always intrigue me as a child and inspired me to create my own stories through film. With this love in symbolism and art, I first pursued an Associates Degree in Art history from Diablo Valley community college, then transferred to Mills college and graduated with my Bachelors in Art and Technology. With a concentration in art, I specialize in video editing, videography, and helping clients conceptualize their visions and goals into a real product. I have worked with small businesses, and self-employed clients to help create their brand identities through engaging video content in order to promote their business. I also create content for Youtube and other social platforms to inspire and pass on the knowledge I've learned over the years in video editing.
